CCS Insight's analysis suggests that past the US, the circular financial system for the sale of second-hand and refurbished smartphones is vibrant particularly the UK, the Netherlands, France and India. Though, in northern Europe, Germany and different developed markets, the second-hand industry stays in its infancy. Bryant also notes that in the European market, trade-in volumes do not come near sustaining demand.
